Although very cold that day, there was not a single drop of rainfall on 12/24/2011 thanks to God.

TTA would like to extend its immense gratitude to Mrs. 鍾木生 who prepared a big pot of hot
chicken soup with Ginseng. A bowl of hot soup like that really warmed the whole body in a cold weather of that day.
We also want to give thanks to our Secretary General Ms. 李淑娥 and Executive Secretary Ms. Michelle Chang for their hard preparatory work in advance so that the tournament could be started
and proceeded smoothly.
More thanks to Mr. 蔡永賢, Mr. 謝嚴濱and Mr. 李國忠 who were in charge of the operation of the tournament for they have made the tournament successful.

2011 "TTA Cup" (12-10-2011) Postponed to 12-24-2011
2011 "TTA Cup" tennis tournament which was scheduled to hold on Dec. 10, Saturday was postponed to Dec. 24, two weeks after due to the constant rainfalls these days. There are about 20 some player showed up for the tournament. They are 陳聯發,謝嚴濱,蔡永賢邱春福,謝罔圓,張文,張義信,陳明芳,柯太平,徐悅愃,李宗藩,林金順,黃正和,吳真彬,廖宜侃,熊正儀,何雪美,柯太平,張昌雄,林敏美,陳柏村,林金順,張榮生,鍾木生,張昌雄,林敏美. The Director-general, Mr. James Chang expressed his highest appreciation of their patronage on behalf of TTA Board. Several pictures were taken for this special occasion.
TTA will notify those who have signed up for the tournament as to the postponement.

2011 "TTA Cup" Tennis Tournament
2011 "TTA Cup" Tournament (Dec. 10, 2011)
Taiwan Tennis Association (TTA) is going to hold a tournament for all the members and non-members on December 10, 2011(Saturday).
All the members and non-members are welcome to sign up for this annual "TTA Cup".
All the participants who have signed up for the tournament will be classified into 5 levels according to their tennis skill and ages.
The five levels are AA, AB, B, BC, C
The players of different classification will be then assigned to different teams by lottery with each team to be composed of same numbers of players of different levels.
Each team is to play 5 points (A to A, AB to AB, B to B, BC to BC, C to C) and whichever team gets 3 points wins.
The registration fee is free for TTA members and $250 for non-members.
(TTA will provide lunch boxes and mineral water for all the players.)

We encourage all the members and non-members to sign up ASAP.
The deadline for signing up is December 4, 2011 (Sunday).
Remarks:
TTA membership is to be renewed at the beginning of next year (Jan. 1, 2012).
All the members who have paid the membership fee of $1000/yr will be given
a new year TTA Tennis Polo shirt as a gift.

There are more than 70 players participated in the 2011 TTA Members Cup tennis tournament.
They are classified into three big group according to their levels and ages.
Within each group three or four teams formed based on lottery drawing depend on the number of players.

2. 智組分為四隊,仁組亦分為四隊,勇組分為三隊。

TTA "Members Cup" on May 21, 2011

The sponsors to this event are: Mr. Yun-Ping Chen, Coach Wen Chang, Mrs. Chuen-Lai Chao and
Mr. Chih-Ping Hsu, Tecnifire Co., etc..... Their generosity is highly appreciated and will help make the tournament better.
All the members who have signed up for the tournament will be classified into 5 levels according to their skills and ages.

台菲網球友誼賽 (Taiwan/Philippine Friendship Tennis Tournament)

Philippine Ace Tennis Club members came to visit Taiwan in March 2011,
and had a friendship tennis tournament with Taiwan Tennis Association
members at "Ta-Hsin-Den Tennis club" (clay courts) on Mar. 19 from
8:30AM till 5:00PM.

There are total of 35 sets played between the Philippine Ace Club players
and Taiwan Tennis Association players.
The players of both sides had exhibited great spirit of sportsmanship
and at the same time fostering friendship and camaraderie among
different members.
At the beginning of the tournament, the president and secretary of Philippine Ace Tennis Club, Mr. Tony Ng Chua and Mariano Ho gave their banners and gifts and the president of Taiwan Tennis Association, Mr. James Chang gave them Taiwan tennis association's polo-shirt in return. There are something for every member to remember all the time.
The weather was perfect on the day of tournament--cool and not sunny.
All the matches went well and smoothly. All the players had enjoyed every set of playing.
At the end of the tournament, even though tired (especially for the Philippine Ace team) yet full of high spirit, all the players bid each other good-bye with a sincere wish to meet again some time soon in another tournament.
